Mashup Rendering Assignment

I had originally wanted to use my Hand flowers, while going through the rendering process I had some issues with the assigned materials that I couldn't figure out. In the end I decided to render my eye soup concept as I felt I could use some less complicated materials. I still really like the Eye soup concept, but I feel like I was limited due to my lack of knowledge. In the future I would ideally want to find some different materials online that up the creepiness factor and some new realistic eye models. I would also maybe use what I learned from the ring assignment and create some blood puddles or splatters with the polyline tool.

Through the act of taking premade objects and placing them together with a unique vision in mind is what I believe relates my concept to remix culture. I tried to create a juxtaposition that left the viewer uneasy. Using these everyday household objects/images people associate one way and then adding human parts to unsettle the viewer. Forcing them to reevaluate those base feelings in a way.
