Last Minute Changes

So I had originally wanted to build this paper helm based on the Elite Knight armor from Dark Souls which is a video game franchise I like. As the weeks went by I was having trouble trying to create the paper craft patterns specifically the back of the head to neck part. I just wasn't sure how to get the specific shape correct. I was also having a hard time figuring out how I was going to get all the parts to connect together-- Which sucked as I really wanted to be able to create this helm to wear around. Overall it was an interesting experience-- I definitely want to revisit making something like this in the future.

In the end, I couldn't think through the this issue in time. I started work on my second idea which would be a cd from one of my favourite bands at the moment-- Saidan (an american black metal band). I really had fun creating the logo and the extra decals (which are decals I took from one of their actual cds Split). I had also created outlines for a line up of songs on the cd (which were just some of my fav songs by them) but sadly the font I chose made the lines too thin for the lettering to be lasercut.
