Mashing up the funky vases - More Revolving and lofting

 

FUNKY VASE MASH UP

For this assignment we were to create 3 new vessels using some of the 10 previous concepts from last weeks post. My process for doing so was taking the previous curves/lines I created and mixed the ones I thought would make the most interesting forms. I also tried to exaggerate the hollow vessel's shapes more in these iterations. I chose to use the star outline for two of my vessels because I thought it created interesting curves. For the first vessel in these pictures I tried to mashup the two revolved vessels I created-- trying to keep in mind the steep curves of one while also trying to include the cylindrical opening of the other.
